During the early years, we focused on fine-tuning our understanding of land reclamation from the sea, learning from the few experts in the field.
In 2008, the company faced challenges when the founder, Gregory Sarno, experienced a severe car crash and endured a long recovery process. This turning point led us to open an art gallery and establish a foundation to educate the world about the importance of respecting the Earth and finding solutions to heal it. Our efforts gained global recognition when our Founder presented our coastal accretion engineering solution at the United Nations.
Since then, Mr. Sarno has traveled the world, spreading awareness about our technology and advocating for a new approach to coastal management.
Our technology, protected as trade secrets, has evolved to include artistic canvas installations on the tubes extending into the sea.
We actively seek coastal sites to film and clients worldwide to help support us install our coastal accretion canvases.
We look forward to returning to the United Nations to share our progress once again.

Solution: Introducing Accretion Technology for Sustainable Beach Restoration:
• •We have developed a groundbreaking solution that aims to address beach erosion in a sustainable and cost-effective manner. By harnessing the power of coastal accretion engineering technology, we offer a revolutionary approach to beach restoration.
• •Our innovative system promotes natural sedimentation and encourages the return of marine life, effectively combating erosion and stabilizing coastlines. Through the installation of artistic canvas structures, we create a visually captivating solution that not only preserves our coastlines but also engages the public and raises awareness about the importance of environmental conservation.
•Touch Benefits:
•
•Sustainable Restoration: Unlike traditional methods that require ongoing rebuilding, our accretion technology provides a long-lasting solution. By creating a conducive environment for natural sedimentation, we can restore beaches and maintain their integrity over time.
•
•Cost-effectiveness: Our approach minimizes ongoing rebuilding costs associated with traditional methods. By utilizing the power of nature and innovative engineering, we reduce the need for costly dredging, importing sand, and constant maintenance.
•
•Environmental Conservation: Our solution promotes the return of marine life and the preservation of coastal habitats. By restoring beaches through accretion, we contribute to the protection of endangered species and the overall health of coastal ecosystems.
•
•Engaging and Educational: The artistic canvas structures not only serve as functional installations but also engage the public and educate them about the importance of beach restoration and environmental sustainability.
•A wider beach compared to an eroded beach offers several benefits to the nearshore habitat and water quality:
•Habitat Restoration: A wider beach provides a larger area for the establishment of coastal vegetation, including dunes and marshes. These habitats serve as important breeding grounds, nesting sites, and feeding areas for various species of plants and animals, including migratory birds, turtles, and beach-dwelling organisms. By restoring and expanding the beach, we create a healthier and more diverse habitat for these species to thrive.
•Coastal Protection: A wider beach acts as a natural buffer, helping to absorb and dissipate the energy of waves and storms. This reduces the impact of erosive forces on the shoreline, protecting coastal infrastructure and properties from erosion and flooding. By maintaining a wider beach, we can better safeguard human communities and their surrounding ecosystems.
•Enhanced Water Quality: A wider beach promotes better water quality in the nearshore area. As waves break on a wider beach, they have a longer distance to travel before reaching the shoreline. This extended path allows more time for sediment particles and pollutants to settle, resulting in clearer and cleaner water. Additionally, the presence of coastal vegetation on a wider beach helps filter and absorb pollutants, improving water quality further.
•Increased Biodiversity: A wider beach supports greater biodiversity by providing more space for a variety of species to coexist. The expansion of the beach allows for the colonization of different plant and animal species, leading to increased ecological diversity. This, in turn, contributes to a healthier and more balanced nearshore ecosystem.
•Recreational and Economic Value: A wider beach offers more space for recreational activities such as sunbathing, walking, and wildlife observation. It attracts tourists and locals alike, providing opportunities for nature-based tourism and economic growth in coastal communities. Additionally, a healthy nearshore ecosystem with improved water quality can support activities like swimming, fishing, and boating, further enhancing the recreational and economic value of the area.
•In summary, a wider beach provides numerous benefits to the nearshore habitat and water quality, including habitat restoration, coastal protection, enhanced water quality, increased biodiversity, and recreational and economic opportunities. By prioritizing beach restoration and erosion prevention, we can protect and improve these important coastal environments for both ecological and human well-being.

Beach erosion is a significant issue affecting coastlines around the world. The gradual loss of sandy beaches not only impacts the aesthetic appeal but also poses serious environmental and economic challenges.
Causes:
•Rising Sea Levels: With the effects of climate change, rising sea levels are leading to increased erosion rates along coastlines globally. According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), sea levels have risen by approximately 8 inches (20 cm) since the late 19th century, and the rate is accelerating. • •Economic Impact: Beach erosion has severe economic consequences. According to a study by the U.S. Geological Survey, the United States alone spends billions of dollars annually on beach nourishment and replenishment projects to combat erosion. These costs include dredging, importing sand, and reconstructing protective barriers. • •Loss of Coastal Habitats: Beach erosion disrupts natural coastal habitats, affecting marine life and ecosystems. It threatens the nesting sites of endangered species like sea turtles and disrupts the delicate balance of coastal ecosystems, leading to potential loss of biodiversity. • •Tourism and Recreation: Sandy beaches are major attractions for tourism and recreational activities. Beach erosion diminishes the appeal of coastal destinations, impacting local economies reliant on tourism revenue. Studies have shown that beach erosion can result in decreased visitor numbers and revenue losses for businesses in the tourism sector.
•Gregory's dedication to environmental preservation was recognized at the United Nations in 2016, where he delivered a powerful presentation on the urgent need to restore beaches and protect coastal ecosystems. His insights and commitment have made a lasting impact in the field of environmental conservation.
